Mini meat loaf can be cut into slices which allows your toddler to feed him/herself. The beef provides an excellent source of iron and protein for toddlers.
200 grams minced lean beef topside
2 tablespoons wheat germ (optional)
2 tablespoons fine or medium oatmeal
1 tablespoon tomato paste or tomato sauce
50 mls water, milk or Karicare Toddler Milk
½ cup peeled, grated apple
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon finely chopped parsely
A sprinkle of salt and pepper
For topping: 1 tablespoon tomato sauce
